If you sell products you need to have an online shop to expand you business by selling to customers in the UK and perhaps to other countries.

Online shops require a high level of maintenance. We offer an add-on for you to maintain your own online shop, or you can leave it to us to maintain, so you can get on with running your business.

 What you will need:

1. A domain name (for example asunacomputing.co.uk is a domain name

A domain name is rented in the UK from the Domain Registrar for a minimum of 2 years (you do not actually own the name).  We also advise that you rent the .com name as well.

Domain names are usually rented for 2 years with fees payable in advance every two years.

2. The online shop design comes next:

 This will include the number of pages required and the content for each page.

You will need:

•  Pictures of your products
• Price list with product ref. no's
• A basic Paypal account or an Internet Merchant Account from Worldpay to accept online card payments.
• consider the countries which you will deliver to  - This will often depend on your product liability insurance
• consider how to charge for postage & packing 

We optimise your website with special keywords to help others find your website via search engines, such as Google.

3. Hosting services:- When the website is ready to be published to the Internet it will need somewhere on the Internet for others to be able to view your website.

Hosting is usually on an annual or monthly basis with the fee payable in advance.

We can arrange to obtain the Domain Names and Hosting on your behalf. This way the domain names are directly registered to you with billing coming directly to you.
